On February 20, 2025, China’s first 10,000-meter-deep scientific exploratory well, Shendi Take 1, was successfully drilled at a depth of 10,910 meters underground, which became the first vertical well in Asia and the second in the world. It has also set five engineering records, including the deepest tail pipe cementing in the world and the deepest cable imaging logging in the world. Many companies under Shenkai have provided multiple key equipment and solutions for the “Shendi Take 1 Well”, fully assisting China’s petroleum equipment industry in “marching towards the deep earth” and continuously contributing Shenkai’s strength to China’s deep earth scientific research and ultra-deep oil and gas exploration.

Recently, the first deep-ocean drilling vessel “Dream” independently designed and constructed by China officially set sail in Guangzhou, which marks a significant breakthrough in key technical equipment for China’s deep-sea drilling. As a petroleum equipment enterprise that has been deeply involved in the field of oil and gas exploration for many years, Shenkai has facilitated China’s deep-sea oil and gas exploration by providing the core equipment SK-3Q07 hydrogen flame chromatograph and its supporting SK-7H06 constant volume deaerator for the vessel “Dream”.

From September 25 to September 27, the 29th Kazakhstan International “Oil & Gas” Exhibition and Conference (KIOGE 2024) was successfully held at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. As an important oil exhibition in Central Asia, KIOGE has attracted over 400 exhibitors from around the world, including more than 60 Chinese exhibitors, as well as well-known oil companies in Central Asia such as KAZMUNAIGAZ, QAZAQGAZ, SOCAR, SHELL, LUKOIL, etc.

In the exploration and development of coalbed methane, nuclear magnetic resonance technology is mainly used for laboratory testing and interpretation of reservoir core characteristics, including lithology, physical properties, oil, gas and water properties, etc., and providing key parameters for reservoir assessment. However, it requires a long period of time to take the core back from the site and analyze it in the laboratory, and some parameters (such as oil and gas loss rate) are variable during this process, which results in differences from the original state and affects the accuracy of subsequent reservoirs and production parameters assessment. In addition, the laboratory equipment is large and expensive, and the means of timely reservoir assessment or providing assessment related parameters for on-site logging are relatively limited. So there is an urgent need for a portable device and application technology suitable for on-site and real-time analysis of rock cores (cuttings).

Recently, based on the “new energy strategy” layout and combined with its own and industry resource endowments, Shanghai Shenkai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shenkai Energy Technology”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Shenkai Petroleum & Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. signed an equity transfer agreement with Shanghai Haojun Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereinafter referred to as “Haojun Venture Capital”) and Hanhydrogen Power (Zhuhai) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hanhydrogen Power”, “target company”), and Shenkai Energy Technology invested 9.46 million yuan to acquire 3.7847% of the equity held by Haojun Venture Capital of the target company. At this point, Shenkai has completed its equity investment in Hanhydrogen Power, marking its official entry into the hydrogen energy race.
